Albert Charles Goepel's Obituary
Albert Charles Goepel, age 67, of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1948 in Roxborough, PA, son of the late Harry Charles Goepel and Anna (Gudas) Goepel.
Mr. Goepel was raised in Rehoboth Beach after his family moved there as a small child. For the last 15 years he was employed by Sussex County government as a Plant Manager and a Wastewater Operator, retiring in 2010 from the County's Wolfe Neck plant located in Rehoboth. Going to yard sales and tinkering were two of his favorite enjoyments.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Deloris B. Goepel; one son, Albert C. Goepel II and his wife Tina of Rehoboth Beach, DE and their children, Robert and Anna; one daughter, Deede Schroeder and her husband John of Flowery Branch, GA and their children, Austin and Bethany; and his brother Charles Goepel and his wife Denise of Severna Park, MD.
All services will be private.
