Adrianne A. Trala's Obituary
Mrs. Adrianne Trala (Malanowicz), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026.
Adrianne was born on May 8, 1932, in Buffalo, New York, to Stephen Malanowicz and Cecilia Kranichfeld. In 1943, she relocated with her family to Delaware, where she would go on to build a full and meaningful life.
She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1950 and, the following year, married the love of her life, John “Yash” Trala.
Adrianne and Yash made their home in New Castle, Delaware, where they raised their family and created a lifetime of memories. In 1987, she moved to Lewes, Delaware, beginning a new chapter marked by dedication, community, and hard work. For more than 30 years, Adrianne was a familiar and cherished presence at Grotto Pizza, where her warmth, reliability, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and her son, Robert Trala.
Adrianne is survived by her loving children: John Trala Jr., Mike Trala, Christine Trala, and Andrew Trala. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Adrianne will be remembered for her resilience, her devotion to family, and her steady, caring presence in the lives of those who knew her.
A chapel committal service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE. 2465 Chesapeake City Road.
