Adele Marie Lepore's Obituary
Adele Marie Lepore, 73, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the cherished daughter of the late Nicholas and Twyla Cerasari.
Adele was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her family and friends. Throughout her life, she answered to many affectionate names—Della, Del, and Mom—but the title that filled her heart with the most joy was "MomMom."
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louie and ‘Nicky Boy’; and her beloved eldest son, Michael, with whom she is now peacefully reunited.
She is survived by her children Gina, Frank, and Dominica, and her seven grandchildren. One of her greatest blessings was living in Florida down the street from her two oldest granddaughters for their entire childhood. Adele was especially proud that her first granddaughter was lovingly named Marie Adele in her honor. She also shared a special bond with her second granddaughter, whom she nicknamed 'Sophia Sunshine', rarely referring to her as anything else. In recent years, Adele was happy to create more memories while living with two of her other grandchildren, Ava and Bodhi.
Adele leaves behind her loving sister, Joanna (Peter) Botting, and her protective brother, Gene (Deborah) Cerasari. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Adele possessed a wonderful sense of humor, a quick wit, and a playful spirit that could light up any room. Her life was a testament to the power of family, love, and resilience.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, always loved, forever remembered.
