Ada Mae Faust's Obituary
Ada Mae Faust, age 94 of Frankford, DE passed away at home on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, with her daughter Christina by her side, after a long battle with dementia. She was born on January 23, 1930, in Camden Wyoming, DE, daughter of the late Curtis and May (Faucett) Lacey.
Ada attended Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, DE. After high school, she enjoyed a lengthy career in retail, retiring as a merchandising supervisor after many dedicated years. Her passions were as varied as they were deep. Ada was a talented artist and she enjoyed drawing with charcoal as well as painting, with a predilection for flowers and still portraits. She excelled at projects that used her sewing and artistic skills. Ada could often be found watching baseball, always rooting for her favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies, who rewarded her devotion particularly in 1980 when they won the World Series. More than anything, Ada treasured spending time with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. All who knew her will dearly miss her generosity and kindness.
In addition to her parents, Ada was predeceased in death by Uncle Dave. She is survived by her daughters: Christina and Susan (Tim); her son, Eric; her grandchildren: Tina, Michelle, Jaime, Danny, Nichole, Brittany, Heidi, Julie, Lars, and Brady; her sister, Pearl; her niece, Bonnie and nephew, Lee.
