Aaron K. Mowbray's Obituary
Aaron Keith Mowbray, age 62, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at his residence after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Easton, MD, on Thursday, September 25, 1952, son of the late John Paul and Mary (Bradley) Mowbray.
After high school graduation, Mr. Mowbray proudly served his country with the US Coast Guard and was a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking the more scenic routes to his destinations. Mr. Mowbray loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.
He was a past member of the Red Knights-DE, an organization composed of Fire Service personnel and their families who are dedicated to promoting motorcycle safety and fellowship. He served as an EMT with the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department, which brought him great joy.
In addition to his parents Mr. Mowbray was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Mowbray. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina of Bridgeville, DE; a daughter, Hope Davis of Delmar, MD; 2 sons, Gerald Mowbray of New Brighton, PA; Benjamin Mowbray of Seaford, DE; a step-son, John Hatten III of Bridgeville, DE; a grandson, Troy Mowbray of New Brighton, PA; a brother, Phillip Mowbray and his wife Donna of Seaford, DE; 2 sisters, Rene' Powell of Salisbury, MD; Lisa Davis of Seaford, DE; his mother and father in-law, Earl and Margaret Granger of Ephrata, PA; daughter in-law, Robin Mowbray of New Brighton, PA, brother and sister-in law, Paul and Stacie Baker of Willow Street, PA; and brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Charlotte Baker of Blades, DE and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 12:30 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 11 AM. Interment with Military honors will be at 2 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
