Genevieve A. Steiger , age 80 of Dagsboro, DE, formerly of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013, at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, MD. She was born in Lilly, PA, on March 30, 1933, daughter of the late Read Obituary
Miss Genevieve consigned at my store in Ocean View. I enjoyed working with her the past 2 yrs. and enjoyed getting to know her daughter Diane as well. She was a wonderful person and always had a smile on her face and was so kind to everyone. I enjoyed her and I will miss her very much. Prayers to her family.
Mrs. Steiger was a great neighbor for all us kids to grow up with. At Christmas she was famous for her entire coat closet filled with tins of different cookies while her dining room and kitchen tables were full of cakes and danish, all were the best of homemade treats I tastefully tested each year. Her walnut roll was my favorite and no one anywhere can make anything comparable. Missed her and all the Steigers when they moved from Neeley Road. My prayers and blessings are with her and all family.
