Mr. Reynolds will always remain my favorite teacher at Bridgeville High School. He instilled in me the love of literature, and the power of the written word. I had the utmost respect and admiration for him, and our Class of 1961 invited him and his lovely wife to our 50th reunion to enjoy his companionship outside of the classroom. We were honored and delighted that they attended. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family at this difficult time. Perhaps Mr. Reynolds is reading an excerpt from Julius Caesar to a choir in heaven.

My condolences to all the family on your loss. Mr. Reynolds was a force in the world of education. I remember fondly, and sometimes not so fondly, weekly Theme papers. And there are specific words that I remember him teaching, obviously in such a way that made them memorable. A fine man and a wonderful teacher.
Mr. Reynolds was the best teacher I ever had during my high school years in Bridgeville. His passion for teaching, knowledge of the subject, the deep booming voice always guaranteed I was listening and learning. My favorite memory of Mr. Reynolds was his response once to my ongoing references to television programs of the day and the relation to whatever we would be discussing at that time. He responded as only he could, "Ahhhh yes, our walking telly--vision Guide!" Goodbye, Normal L. Reynolds and thank you.
Mr. Reynolds was the person who introduced to to Shakespeare. He always pushed me to be the best that I could be and for that I am forever grateful. Rest in peace Sir. E. Elaine Moorer-Crapper
