Mom Santmyer,
I truly miss Mom, her wittiness, her smile, and her mischievous look and at times her stern look.
Mom was always one to say what she meant and mean exactly what she said.
I will remember all the good times with Mom.
Mom had a heart of gold she did everything for everybody, like making dish cloths when her hands would hardly go, making plastic canvas Christmas ornaments and most of all keeping her children straight and me straight.
And I can never forget, every year Pop & Mom would get me a Geranium, theirs were always beautiful, however knowing I did not have a green thumb she would remind me *don’t touch that plant you will kill it, I will take care of it* that was mom. We would have a flower sale at the Fire company each year and all of the ladies’ auxiliary members would always say * your little neighbors are coming this year aren’t they* they enjoyed them so much. The were saddened when I had to share the news with them that Mom and Pop had passed. I truly miss my visits with her when she was my neighbor and my conversations with her on the phone after they moved.
I am praying all will be well and that her children will feel Jesus’ presence upon them each and every day. Love Vanessa
