Anne's kindness and welcoming attitude when I joined the St. Edmond's Parish was extraordinary. She was instrumental in parts of my faith journey in several ways, and she entrusted me with carrying on one of her Mass intentions which I intend to see through in her memory. Paraphrasing the ancient Irish blessing, I'm sure she was in Heaven a half-hour before the devil knew she'd passed away.
So sorry for your loss Uncle Jaye and family. I will always remember Mom Mom for her hospitality, friendliness, and good cooking. But now she is where she belongs with Pop Pop and baby Chase. She will surely be missed by all of us. Hugs to all of you and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Love you all.

It's so hard to believe that she is no longer with us! I will always cherish my memories of Anne. She was an inspirational part of my life as a mother-in-law, grandmother to my children, and a friend. I learned so much from her and pray that her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren will keep her memory alive. If anyone deserves a special place in heaven, it would be Anne McDevitt!
