We were told by several family members who were in attendance how lovely the bouquet was. This bouquet was chosen because of the variety of colors with a peaceful setting. It was for a funeral and the person who passed was a vibrant person so didn't want a bland arrangement. It was from a group of neighbors and friends to the family. We were all pleased with how beautiful it was. The tulips shown were out of season, so the florist substituted with roses of like color. My only suggestion for future orders would be to have whoever fills out the card, please have nicer penmanship. This is a minor detail and is addressed to the Florists who fulfill the Sympathy Store orders, but the writing was messy and "preschoolish" to put it kindly.

The family loved the pink flowers received. I saw a picture of the actual delivery and was surprised how small the bouquet was. Some would say "not as shown" but there is a substitution clause on the type of flowers. For the price $91.95 I expected a larger bouquet, not a small sized one.

What was delivered was not even close. I was very disappointed and embarrassed to have our family name on the card. The flowers were lovely as promised. What I wish to comment on is the lovely staff member who aided me with a question/concern. When I ordered the flowers I did not place the correct date for delivery. It was next day delivery Monday, when I needed delivery on Friday. This was too long flowers could be wilted. She calmly and clearly explained the sympathy store process. They usually call the funeral home and family and will send a confirmation to me for a different date for delivery if needed. I did in fact get a confirmation to have flowers delivered on Friday.. The staff member was calm and knowledgeable which decreased my stress and anxiety immediately.. Very good during stressful and unfamiliar situations. I would use sympathy store again if needed.

This full arrangement was so poor that I got 50% of my money back. While I understand that they May have to substitute some flowers because of the season this arrangement was nothing that looked like what I was buying. Premium was a joke. I could've grabbed some flowers and put together a better floor arrangement than this. I was so embarrassed. I had to have the funeral Director, take a picture of my arrangement. If you do not have these floral arrangements available, then you should not be putting up pictures of flowers that people are thinking that they're getting and they're not getting what they're Are paying for. They also would not tell me which local florist put this ass arrangement together. You are better off going and getting your own florist to make sure that you have something that is being sent to your loved one that represents your love for them because using a service like this it's just not going to happen. I ordered a deluxe “Full of Love” bouquet, which was about $75. There was an additional $30 fee, which was discovered in the checkout process (not disclosed before). Still, I was willing to pay the extra charge, because they guaranteed delivery the morning of the funeral before it started, which other companies could not ensure. The bouquet arrived as guaranteed and the recipients said they were beautiful and sent me a photo. I was disappointed, because I purposefully chose the “similar colors and varieties only” as a substitution (red roses, tulips, etc.). Instead of what was pictured, I received a mostly white bouquet with some pink and purple. The flowers did include a 4 tulips, but were otherwise white and pink carnations, which are cheap flowers. I didn’t see any roses in the bouquet. I’m giving it 4 stars because something was delivered on time and the flowers were fresh looking. I am unhappy about the final flower selection being so dramatically different (and cheaper).

I was very pleased with the arrangements themselves. I was less than impressed by the fact that I only received an invoice for one order, and had to email to get a copy of the other invoice. I was extremely less than impressed when I received confirmation of delivery of only one arrangement. I again had to reach out to find out if both arrangements had been delivered to the service. Being that the floral shop was closed, I wasn't able to find out until the next morning. However, customer service was very diligent and called me first thing in the morning to let me know that both arrangements had been delivered. Actually , I was quite disappointed in the bouquet. The picture shows a much larger bouquet. I had bought the premium bouquet to ensure the size. The bouquet pictured also showed a combination of red and pink roses and carnations . The contrast in the picture was nice . MOur bouquet ha mostly carnations and a great big lily which was not what I ordered.

This option was so perfect for us. We had friends that live 3 hours away, 6 hours round trip, and their father passed away suddenly. With kids and work we couldn't make it to the funeral but saw this link on the obituary and it worked so easy and quick, and even though we couldn't be at the funeral the bouquet we sent warmed the heart of our good friends. Loved this option. Would recommend and for sure do it again.

For some reason I thought the Full of Love (Premium) would be either bigger or have more flowers (hence the extra charge for the Premium size). When we attended the funeral for my dear friend and actually located the arrangement, it was less than impressive. I was quite disappointed. The bouquet was small (for the premium size and price). I could have spent 15 dollars at Walmart and got a one as small as that one was and I was charged 74 or 78 dollars.Im not joking it was in a small vase with not more than 4 or 5 flowers in it and some filler.

It was very convenient to order the flowers right there online. Except I was a bit shocked how much the extra fee was. Another $20 I had thought the store was already providing the flowers so I wouldn't expect them to charge me extra for the delivery. All in All I would probably do it again. I ordered an arrangement for a friend who lost a parent. I live out of state so I couldn't make it to the funeral and wanted to send my condolences. I only had the picture on the website to go off of. When the arrangement was delivered there was no card attached so my friend didn't know who it was from after I filled it out on the website during the ordering process. My friend sent me a picture of the arrangement and it looked like a 5 year old did it. Not like the picture online at all. When I saw it in the funeral home at the visitation I was disappointed in the fullness of the arrangement. It was not nearly as full as the photo shows. I voiced my displeasure and was refunded the $19.95 delivery fee.

Don't waste your money with the Sympathy Store middleman!
Rather than purchasing your memorial through the funeral home website go directly to the local florist's website, call them or go there in person. The Sympathy Store shows you a photo of the premium-priced item with a misleading price below it for a lesser-quality option. You then upsell yourself to the higher-cost item based off the photo of good-better & best and then after committing to the item discover that there's also an additional $20 "service fee". Let's say you commit yourself to a $90 arrangement; the local florist will receive less that $53 and they will likely provide you with an arrangement comparable to the amount which they received. When you approach the Sympathy Store on the problem they will make excuses, point fingers and offer a discount as an apology for the lesser-quality item. It is much wiser and beneficial for you to use that $90 directly at the local florist to assure the quality of your investment.

I was quite embarrassed, as the Bouquet looked less than adequate for even the standard bouquet offered on the website. While I understand the service took place on Valentines Day, busiest day of the year for florist, I still expected to receive what I ordered.

I was not at all happy with my purchase. The description of the arrangement indicated that it was to include pink roses, pink tulips, carnations, waxflower, pitta negra, and varigated opittosporum. There were no roses, and I believe other of the promised flowers were missing. The arrangement consisted of mostly pink carnations with a few tulips. But this bouquet is extremely small and looked poor. Have no green leaves at all that maybe could increase the size.
I'mean assuming this is my own fault because you describe the size in the Web page but still is difficult to imagine how small it results to be.

Maybe you can do something for next customer for the bouquet to look a little bigger and round.
