William Walter Wentzel, (Bill), passed away in his home in Lewes, Delaware on Monday, April 8, 2024, after enduring a long battle with MS. He was 73 years old. Bill grew up in West Reading, PA, in a neighborhood where he played in Read Obituary
Bill was a good man, my adviser when I was in Church farm school and very welcoming. His family used to invite a group of us into his home and gave us break from campus life in CFS. So many fun memories, games and going to restaurants with groups of students etc.

Bill was very kind, supportive, and helpful to me as a new member of faculty at Church Farm School. Missed him a lot after he left and will always remember how dedicated he was to ensuring the welfare of the students as an administrator. Res in peace, Bill!
Condolences and blessings to Nancy, Andrew, Daniel and families and to Cindi and Tom. Many fun memories with Bill from years ago - working together one summer at the WR playground with Fritz Davis, a camping trip to Canada that same summer, baseball, living down the road from each other in Millersville in the mid- 70s to name a few. Bill was truly one of the finest people I’ve known and I will miss him. I am glad we reconnected in recent years and had a chance to visit a few years back and occasionally stayed touch. I know his spirit will live on with all those he loved and touched.

So sorry for your loss Nancy and all of Bill’s family. Bill was a great friend in high school and we had many fun times together. Although I was in a new life in far off lands I always thought of him and those wonderful times.
Waves of life run through us, around us, over us and ultimately carry us to a better place where our energy exists forever. He was a good friend and I know he was a good man. It’s a sad day but his memories bring a light to all that knew him.

Mr. Wentzel was a kind, patient man with a great sense of humor. I really appreciated my time getting to know him at CFS and as a student in his photography class. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends
Bill was always a good ear to us faculty at CFS which was greatly appreciated. He and I both were in tree work at one time so we shared that link too. One nice family and of course “Diggity” was a neighborhood favorite. God Bless all…..Joe and Mary Ellen
I will always remember hanging out with Bill and Tom in West Reading. We had so much fun growing up in one of the best neighborhoods. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace my friend.
