Mr. Lynam was a great person who will be missed. He was my wrestling coach at Rehoboth and Cape where I learned so much. Worked as a beach boy during the summer for years. I asked him to be my sponsor so I could join the Navy which he did with honor. RIP, Randy Travis

My condolences to Anne and the rest of the Lynam family. Mr. Lynam was my shop teacher and wrestling coach at Colywyck Jr. High School in 1953-'54, and I was one of his beach boys from 1954-'58. I remember our runs (or, rather, races) along the Rehoboth and Dewey Beach shoreline. Many times over the years since, my mind wanders back to those days with my mentor, coach and friend.

RIP, Dick Lynam will miss you and your Jeep in the beach in the early mornings. A quiet man with a heart of gold.
Rest in peace, Mr. Lynam. My first boss as a beach boy for almost 10 years of my life. My heart goes out to the family. He was such a kind, mellow, dry witted, intelligent guy. A truly wonderful person.
Our prayers go out to the family of this very special man. He played a big role in our lives for more than twenty years and he will be missed terribly. We thank him for the countless wonderful memories he has given us. Summers will never be the same.
