Mr. Gmoch was an amazing teacher. He created a fun and focused environment in his classroom. I remember memorizing and reciting the Gettysburg Address in honors history freshman year. He was my first high school teacher to leave a lasting impression. I got to continue learning from him the next three years in National Honor Society and appreciate his guidance and mentorship. He was always kind, always jovial, and always the best dressed! He was a remarkable teacher and left a legacy at Deptford High School. I'm sorry for his family and friends loss.

There are so many great memories of Ed. His house was so warmly decorated, his Christmas trees were beautiful, his patio always had such amaxing flowers, his fashion impeccable, and I always loved his smile.
But I must say, my favorite memory was having lunch at his house for the first time and he showed me around. When we went in his basement, first of all, it was the neatest basement I had ever seen. I'm talking completely organized. You could eat off the floor and the way he stored everything was on pallets, but he also had three rows of gifts that he would just buy as he was out and so when it was time for someone's birthday, he just would shop downstairs in the basement and then he had a wrapping center and I'm talking like the wrapping center you used to see at Bloomingdale's with the rolls stored like three or four high and the slicer and bows, everything. He would wrap the gifts as if it were for a king or queen. He is the most organized person I have ever met. I will miss him greatly and smile everytime I think of him.

Mr. Gmoch was one of my favorite teachers. I graduated from Deptford High School in 1977. He always took the time to help me with any thing I couldn’t figure out. I loved him as my teacher, and later my friend, very much. He’s going to be truly missed. RIP😇🙏🏻

Irene and I knew Ed from seeing him at Pamala Stanley’s shows. He always spoke to us even though we didn’t know him well. We always loved his shirts. May he Rest InPeace.

Ed was a Dear Friend of mine. I have many great Memories while serving with Ed at OSJ and Social Life in CC Philadelphia. I remember him along with the deceased owners of Deux Cheminees Leonard and Fritz saying that Ed as being the Best of the Best Waiters with his eloquence and Social Skills at their finest/elegant restaurant in CC Philadelphia.
Ed's Distinct Voice as a Lector at OSJ and I as an Altar Server with him will always be one of my faithful/greatest memories of Ed.
My sincere prayers for Ed's Eternal Life and my Condolences to his Friends and Family I will do at Old St. Josephs Church, Philadelphia Pa.
