To my buddy, DQ. I was one of Don's very good friends & was surprised today to learn of his passing. Much sympathy to Kay and his children. Don was a very kind and considerate person and will be sorely missed. God bless you, Don. May you rest in peace. I was fortunate to have known you and been a part of your life. DW
Rest in peace thanks for being such a great teacher.

Dear Kay and family,
We send you our heartfelt condolences. We have such loving and special memories of Don from Norwalk High School and Camp Notre Dame. A true friend who started me coaching track at NHS. I will continue to honor his commitment to MS research as he did for me and others. I will think of him often and miss him dearly. God bless him. Love Skip and Linda
I was fortunate to have had Mr.Quinn for 2 periods my senior year at NHS. (English IV and Comedies of Shakespeare). I learned more and worked harder in those classes than any others! While studying Hardy's Return of the Native, I remember Mr. Quinn saying to those who weren't paying close attention he would test us on the footnotes. The footnotes at times were a half page long! He's the only teacher I ever had to test only on the footnotes. He also took the unusual step of writing congratulatory letters to the parents of student doing well in his classes. When asked about it, he said he was tired of writing only in the negative. I still have my brief note (2 sentences). It meant more than any other award received.
