Chris was just four years old or thereabouts when the family bought a vacation home next to ours in Lazy Lake in Milton. Wanda and I moved from there in 1987 to Lewes.

The next time we saw Chris was only about 5 to 8 years ago when he saw him working at Fish On in Lewes.

We saw him several times after that - always with a smile on his face and a pleasant greeting. What a great guy.

I’m sure the family will miss him. A special note of sympathy to Marie - so sad and we will remember Chris in our prayers.

Dear Chris, Obviously, you were too good for this earth right now. Your beautiful spirit is required in a better place where your kindness and compassion can serve to guide and to teach us all how to treat each other the way you treated people.
I remember the last time I surfed with you down at IRI about a year ago. It was a cold day, and you were bareback, everyone else in full suits.You were out there for hours catching wave after wave. It was beautiful watching you.You said you had to take advantage of every moment. I admired you for your strength and endurance.

I first met Chris when he was bartending at the Blue Moon. He will always be remembered as a kind and caring man with an upbeat personality and a wonderful smile. He is now an angel walking among us.

Chris was one of my favorite patients, I was one of his nurse in the Cancer Center. I enjoyed talking with him about nursing, fishing, working out and his family. He was a fantastic nurse and friend. He will be missed by so many. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Rest in Peace by friend.

in honor of Christopher.

I did not know Chris very long, but I did not have to in order to realize what a fine young man he was. I spoke with him several times at Indian River Marina where he could be seen on his time away from the ER which is where I first met him. My wife had 2 Emergency Room visits to Bebe and Chris was her attending nurse both times. He was awesome to my wife with his reassuring professional manor and put her at ease during her treatment. I later thanked him at the Marina for being my wife's private nurse.
Rest in Peace Chris, you will be missed.

Chris was one of a kind. I remember a trip we took to the outer banks and Chris drove the CJ down in 40degree weather with just a bikini top. He got there freezing. On the trip a bunch of us decided to take the jeep for a joy ride and see about doing a beach drive. Well we got it stuck. After getting pulled out we drove it home in first gear and thought we broke his jeep. When we pulled up he came out we explained the situation and he laughed at us and told us he rigged it for the four wheel drive and we did not break it. It was classic. But he was one hell of a guy always smiling. I’ll miss you brother but I know you’ll be watching over all of us.

Chris was such a wonderful inspiration to many. Even on his sick bed he gave encouragement. One would have never known that he was sick. I enjoyed our talks when he was my patient. Julie he spoke so highly of you and all the work that you do.
