I am so grateful to have shared time over the years with Summer. So many memories come racing back. And who can forget that grin that only she could create. She also had a way of making you feel very special.Truly, no one can take her place in our hearts.
We will miss Summer, always.She was a special , wonderful person, and friend. Our heart goes out to all who knew her because we have lost a a very joyful and loving person. I am only comforted by knowing she is at peace and out of pain.Glenda and Maggie

We got the opportunity to meet Summer in Mexico at Jeremy and Jillian’s wedding. She was funny and we enjoyed getting to know her for those few days. Our condolences on her passing and may your many fond memories bring a smile when you need it most. All our love, Tammy & EJ
it's the smallest thing, but I'll never hear her call me Rosey Toes again and it breaks my heart. I can't imagine how you guys are dealing with the loss. There's a giant hole where Summer used to tread. Summer - you were an astoundingly loving and silly and positive light in my life, thank you for that.
So sorry to hear of Summer’s passing. I am sending my peace and condolences to her family. I was lucky to have Summer take care of my girl Sally while we were away. Her love of animals was obvious. She was a lovely woman and she will be surely missed….♥️🐾
Summer will always be a very special person in my life. No words can express how much she will missed. I will always love her spirit and laughter. Peggy I’m so sorry for your loss of the love of your life. We had so many fun vacations in the Outer Banks and so many trips to Wild Wonderful West Virginia with all our furry babies.
Ok, so, not trying to dis Peggy, but Peggy’s driving habits could make you, well, fearful (Peggy cutting an apple with two hands as we’re careening down a mountain in WV, with a precarious hay truck tottering in front of us). Summer, on the other hand, was exactly who you wished was driving. Never jerky, never fast stops, she was so steady. But also, she was wicked silly. She loved to laugh. She LOVED s good practical joke. She was always game for any prank or silliness. She was laid back. She never pressured anyone to expedite stuff. She was your best ally in encouraging you to never sweat anything. Summer’s glow, her love, her easy way of accepting things. You could only bask in Summer’s sweetness.
