Vicki Lynn Lenhardt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vicki Lynn (Sobresky) Lenhardt, age 60 of Millsboro DE, passed away after a short but valiant battle with Ovarian Cancer, on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at her home in Millsboro. She was born on January 8, 1962, in Pottstown, PA, daughter of Kenneth and Judy (Foley) Sobresky. She grew up in Pottstown, PA and graduated from Pottstown Senior High School, Class of 1979. In school, Vicki was part of the nursing program. Even though she didn’t end up pursuing nursing, she held her time in that program close to her heart. All her life Vicki silently struggled with medical issues that she never once let hold her back from living how she wanted to. Not being able to work due to her clubfoot, she spent her life focused on being an incredibly supportive and devoted mother. When her first granddaughter was born, she jumped at the chance to watch her during the daytime. In life, Vicki considered her career to be a homemaker, who is exactly what she was. Anytime you were with her, you felt at home no matter how long you knew her. When she married the love of her life, Larry Dean Lenhardt, on May 12, 2018, she finally got her happy ending. Vicki enjoyed going to the beach and was an avid gardener taking pride in planning and executing her landscaping every spring. Beyond being a doting daughter, sister, wife, mother, memom, and friend, Vicki was known for her kind and loving spirit and her willingness to help others. She will forever be remembered for the lives that she touched. Vicki is proceeded in death by her father, Kenneth Sobresky who she fought alongside of with during his battle with Pancreatic Cancer in 2009; and her beloved son, James Mann who she suddenly lost in 2016. Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Larry Dean Lenhardt; her daughter ,Nicole Lynn Moyer; her daughter-in-law,Briana Mann of Pottstown, PA; her granddaughter, Alana Mann; her stepdaughter, Rachyl Richard (Robert) of Stowe, PA; her grandson, Jaxson Levengood; her stepson, Nathan Lenhardt of Stowe, PA; her stepdaughter-in-law ,Danyelle Shane of Upper Pottsgrove, PA; her grandchildren: Messina, Kaidence, and Nathan Lenhardt; her mother ,Judy Sobresky and her stepfather ,Donald Miller of Bechtelsville, PA; her sisters, Michelle Sobresky of Sanatoga, PA, and Aimee Mutter (John) of Pottstown, PA; and her nieces , Lauren (Adam) Majchrowski of Reading, PA; great-nieces, Cora Majchrowski, Carly Mutter of Pottstown, PA,and Emily (James) McLeod of Pottstown, PA. A celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
