I am ashamed that I only found out about Mr. Husband's passing in the last few days. Mr. Husband was my Spanish teacher at Valley Forge Jr. High, and he was one of my favorite teachers throughout all of school. I, on the other hand, was probably his most annoying student--a combination class clown and class cretin--but it was my strange way of showing affection. I loved his class and learned a lot, and I'll always have even the oddball memories--like when he taught us to sing "Jenny (867-5309)" in Spanish. (It had started out as a lesson in how to say telephone numbers and related things in Spanish.) Rest easy, Mr. H, and know that you made a difference in your students' lives.
