Steven M. Grames

July 8, 1949 - July 12, 2021

On July 12, 2021, Steve Grames passed away after battling lung cancer for about three years. The son of Donald and Margaret Grames, he was born on July 8, 1949, in Perrysburg, Ohio. Steve was the husband of Allyson Grames, the brother-in-law of Joe and Cathy Stamerro, Ron and Jackie Stamerro, TJ Stamerro, and Walt and Debby Mills and the following nieces and nephews: Daniel, Katie, Kendall, Anthony, Ryan, Tyler, and Bobby. Steve conscientiously served the country he loved throughout his career. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1971, he served in the Navy for six years. He worked for the Federal Government for 35 years until his retirement. Allyson and Steve moved from Severna Park, Maryland to Bethany Beach, Delaware, where Steve worked another ten years as an attendant and manager in the parking division of the Town of Bethany Beach. Steve recently celebrated his 72nd birthday and his 49th Anniversary with Allyson. Steve has always been known for his analytical skills, problem solving, managerial skills, and most of all for his dedication to Allyson and to their families. His honorable character shines as an example to all of his friends and family. He will be truly missed. In accordance with his final wishes, Steve will be cremated and inurned in the Naval Academy Columbarium. Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE.
