Stacie was special and her friendship was one of my life’s greatest gifts. We remained close right up until her last day despite the miles between us. She made me laugh, she made me cry, she made me feel loved. I miss her every day.

Stacie was the first of the McDonough clan I met, except for Mitzi, who told me there was a reason I didn’t introduce you to Jack🤣. Stacie was 18 months old, and Jack was staying at her parent’s apartment. He was also her Godfather. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know Stacie well & enjoyed her quick wit & sense of humor. I will miss her, especially on FB, as I cannot travel anymore. Rest well, my niece. See you in a little while. You & Julie keep my Rusty company.🙏💕💔

I had Mrs. Guerin in elementary school and I vividly remember her passion of teaching me history. She was proud of her heritage and made sure we knew it. She will most definitely be missed. Thank you for being an amazing teaching to us Carter G. Woodson kids ❤️.

Stacie was a light in the darkness. She was a true jewel. Friend to whomever she crossed paths with. Stacie and I were in marching band together at WWHS in Beckley, WV. She will be missed! Class of 1985, forever! ❤️💔
