Sandra Jane Phillips

June 7, 1951 - January 19, 2022

Sandra Jane Phillips, age 70, of Lewes, DE passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, after bravely battling an extended illness. She was born on June 7, 1951, in South Port, NC, the daughter of Rannie and Margaret (Thompson) Hudson. She was a 1969 graduate of Lewes High School, then went on to pursue an Associate's Degree from Delaware Technical Community College. Sandra established herself as a bookkeeper with the Williams Insurance Agency where she worked for many years. Sandra had a zest for life and loved to dance. She also enjoyed being creative and making crafts and enjoyed a good shopping trip from time to time. She was preceded in death by her father, Rannie Hudson, of VA. She is survived by her mother, Margaret “Peggy” Hudson of Lewes, DE and her daughter, Michelle Phillips of Rehoboth Beach, DE. The family of Sandra would like to thank the countless medical staff, family and friends who encouraged and supported her through the years. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at the Groome Church, 601 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE. A reception will follow. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are recommended.
