We are saddened to learn of the death of Roger. We met at the Lewes Beach Deli and became friends while buying our lottery tickets. Roger was a great guy and we loved him. He is resting in a good place now. We will miss him.

When I had my tonsils out in 5th grade, around 1986, Uncle Roger visited me in the hospital. He was dressed as a clown and brought me flowers arranged like vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream in a sundae dish. That was my favorite get well gift. Rest peacefully. We will miss you.
I worked with Roger at Penny Hill Donut Shop at Lore Avenue 60 years ago as our after school job. RIP Roger.
