Marie T. Bowler

Marie T. Bowler, age 90 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Frank and Ann (Keenan) Good. Mrs. Bowler retired to Rehoboth Beach, DE in 1992. She attended St. Jude the Apostle Church, where she served as Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at Mass and to the sick, belonged to the Columbiettes organization and served on the welcoming committee of the parish. Mrs. Bowler was also a volunteer in the emergency room for Beebe Medical Center for 5 years. Above all, she enjoyed time spent with those she held most dear. Mrs. Bowler was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, William Francis Bowler in 2020. Mrs. Bowler is survived by her daughter, Donna Marie Pappagianis of Lewes, DE; her sons: Daniel Bowler of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Bill Bowler (Diane) of Sewell, NJ; her grandchildren: Anthony (Celia), Helena (Billy), Gianna (Drew), and Janae (Chris); and her great grandchildren: Josephine, Rory, Ophelia, and Roman. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for both William and Marie Bowler on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Private interment will be held at a later date at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing protocols and the use of masks are strongly advised.
