Kenneth Gordon Chalk Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kenneth G. Chalk, age 76 of Georgetown, DE, left this world peacefully on June 17, 2022. He was born on June 11, 1946, in Baltimore City, MD, son of the late William R. Jr. and Ivy L. Chalk. Kenneth was a proud veteran, having honorably served two tours in Vietnam with the US Army. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards, which he did regularly with his lifelong friends, Victor Armetta and Warren Harris. Kenneth was a loving and devoted brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by many and will be genuinely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his beloved siblings: Carol Chalk-Bates, Michael B. Chalk, and Cheryl L. Shaffer; his nephews: Raymond Shaffer (Chelsea) and Joshua Shaffer; his great-nieces: Raychel and Riley Shaffer; and his many cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 9:30 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 North Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 9:00 AM.
