Jeanette Stella Cichocki Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeanette Stella Cichocki, age 96 of Union, NJ passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. She was born on March 1, 1926, in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Jan and Stella (Topelewski) Bylinski. Mrs. Cichocki graduated from West Side High School in Newark, NJ, class of 1943. She was married to Joseph C. Cichocki Sr. and together they enjoyed 38 years of marriage. In addition to taking care of her family and being a full-time mother, Mrs. Cichocki had also been employed as a bookkeeper for many years. A wonderful and nurturing wife, mother, and grandmother, family was extremely important to her, and she always put the needs of her family first. Loved by many, she will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cichocki was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C. Cichocki Sr. of Union, NJ; and her son, Joseph C. Cichocki Jr. of Middletown, NY. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Cichocki of Union, NJ; her son Allen Cichocki (Nina) of Lewes, DE; her 2 grandchildren; her 5 great grandchildren; and her 13 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Rd., Union, NJ 07083, where family and friends may visit beginning at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectively suggests contributions in Mrs. Cichocki's memory to Holy Spirit Church, 984 Suburban Rd., Union, NJ 07083.
