We will always remember Jacquie when moving into Oakwood Village 9 yrs ago. We didn't know very many people and I remember meeting Jacquie at the Clubhouse for our first party. What a treat when she greeted us at the door with a big smile and comment "Welcome to our neighborhood ". From that day forward we knew that we had picked the right place to move. Over the next 9 yrs Jacquie remained a wonderful friend and we will miss having her wave Hello on her bike as she rode by our house. How lucky we have been to have such a great lady and friend in our lives. Please know Mike and family how much our thoughts and prayers are with you.

There are so many, I could probably write a book. Mom was always so strong, she was strong in her opinions but also she felt things stronger than most. When I was around 14 years old a saleswoman was nasty to me. Mom had lent me her credit card to buy clothes while I was out at the mall with my friends. The lady yelled at me and made me cry saying it wasn't my card to use. Mom came to bring my friend and me home, she took one look at my face a charged in there and went complete "Mama bear" on the woman. The woman was soon stuttering apologies and getting her manager to help us. That was the day I realized that I never had to be scared of anything, because my Mommy would always protect me. She was always my security blanket even when I was hours away. She always told me "how it was", pushed me to be better, and called me out on my crap. She knew it was the only way to deal with me. The world just became a darker place without her light to guide me. We all feel rudderless without her to direct us and tell us what to do. Love you always Mommy.

Jacquie was a wonderful, lovely and kind person. I always enjoyed being with her. I appreciated the wonderful Christmas dinner we had. She made us feel we were part of her family. There are great memories I have if her coaching our girls in soccer. Jacquie will always be in my heart.

I am grateful for the memories I have made with Jacquie and will cherish the fun times we shared. She was thoughtful and generous, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her beautiful spirit overflowed with kindness and love for all. I am already missing her sweet smile and encouraging personality…but most of all her friendship. Thoughts of Jacquie will always have a special place in my heart. Marge
To Mike and family, Henry and I send our deepest sympathy!
I am so deeply heart-broken over Jacquie’s passing. Over the past years since we met in Oakwood Village Jacquie and I have spent a lot of memorable and unforgettable times together sharing so much about our families and our lives. We all meet many people/acquaintances throughout the years but true friendship is hard to find and I am happy to say that Jacquie was a true friend. She was very special to me and will always hold a very special place in my heart. Her family should be very proud of the wonderful women that she was; caring, loving, generous and friendly to all. I will always hold on to the happy memories that we shared together. To the family, I pray that the love of those around you, provide you with some comfort and peace to help you through the days ahead. Denise
Jacquie was the first person we met when looking for a home in Oakwood Village. She was out on her bike and rode over to say hello and tell us what a great neighborhood this is to live in. Her generosity and kind, caring manner made it difficult not to like her from the start. Jacquie fought her battle with courage and a positive attitude that serves as an inspiration to us all. We are blessed to have been able to call her our friend. Jay and I send Mike and her family our heartfelt sympathies.
