Hind Younis Al-Faqih

Hind Younis Al-Faqih, age 90, of Laguna Niguel, CA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 her son's home in Lewes, DE. She was born on September 10, 1930 in Deir Kouble, Lebanon, daughter of the late Rashid and Sophia Younis. Mrs. Al-Faqih graduated from Women's College in Beirut, Lebanon, but dedicated her life to her family. She was a teacher, a chef, an artist, a dressmaker, and a professional problem-solver. Mrs. Al-Faqih cherished time spent with her family and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was beloved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Al-Faqih was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Wajih Shaheen Al-Faqih. She is survived by her sons and their spouses: Ghassan Al-Faqih, Fadey Al-Faqih, Faisal Al-Faqih, Kamal Al-Faqih, Nola Murphy, Debra Al-Faqih, and Andreas Frank; her grandchildren: Samantha Al-Faqih and her husband Kyle Simmons and Alex Al-Faqih; and her great-grandson, Julian Simmons. A funeral service will be held in Lewes, DE in the summer or fall of 2021.
