Chiu Huei Lin

November 7, 1944 - April 19, 2022

Chiu Huei Lin, age 77 of Millsboro, DE and formerly of Blue Bell, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 7, 1944, in Taichung, Taiwan, daughter of the late Jung and Liang Hsu Lin. Chiu built a career as a pharmacist in Taiwan and clinical data analyst at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. She had many interests and hobbies, including a passion for cooking, gardening, clamming and fishing. Always proud of her heritage, Chiu held leadership roles of the Taiwanese American Conference and above all, she cherished time with those she held dear. Chiu was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Loved by many, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Chiu was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Hong Shiung; her daughters: Ching Cooper (Daniel) and Karen Lin; her grandson, Aidan Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 3:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
