Mike, Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. We are neighbors in the neighborhood and always walked around to find Alice outside messing with all her plants and flowers. I am also a flower lover and she would show me her plants and tell me the names of them, etc. Alice gave me some hibiscus seeds from one of hers in the yard during the summer. I am in the process of trying to start a new plant early so I have it this summer. She was such a sweet person and always a joy to talk to. We will miss seeing her in the yard tending her flowers and plants. But I'm sure Mike will do the best he can to keep them looking as good as Alice could. Good luck with that Mike! Still trying to wrap my head around this . . . Alice, you were a force of nature; you lived your life on your own terms and fought the good fight with grace and grit. It was a privilege having you as a neighbor, a friend and a member of the family for so many years.

I have known Alice since 1972( I was only 4). Lin and I had wonderful years with Alice and Mike, especially watching Alice keep Mike under control. We will miss her and I'm sure she will be watching Mike daily.
