Very sorry to hear of Mr. Givin passing. He sold his house in Raleigh, NC to me in 1988. My name is Cornelius E Murray.
Reason for my note, and I hope Mrs. Givin will respond, is that upon my wife's passing, we cleaned out a built-in desk in the back bedroom and found a woman's class ring from Cumberland County High School, TN, dated 1972. The ring has a dark blue stone with the image of a jet aircraft inside. I believe the high school was the "Jets".

Very sorry to hear of Bills passing. I finally caught up with Bill in Delaware less than a year ago as I did not know he had moved there. We talked for quite a while and he told me of the Parkinson’s he had. He sounded real good like his old self. We worked together at Huyck since his days in Greeneville. Great guy and a great athlete. MARIE....I am so sorry to hear the news of Bill's passing. He was a colleague of mine as well as mentor and close friend. I learned a lot about mechanics and product while conversing with Bill. He affected my career in many ways. I really miss his conversations and advice. A brilliant guy that helped me in my career while working with Huyck and Albany. I am sorry that we lost touch in recent years. I did not realize that he had moved from Cape Cod to Delaware.
