Hi my name is Thomas. I met shane through videos games. As time progressed he let me in on his interest on hiphop music and creating beats. I also record music and go by the name Da Revolver and have been doing it for many years so I was able to share some advice to Shane. Our friendship progressed and we able to work together on a song, which turned out to be a favorite to the both of us. Shane and I had talked for a good while and I got a message from him on Oct 18, 2009. So we began talking again and even planned on making another song together. 11-5 was the last message I got from Shane. Shane Had high hopes, great talent, and also inspiring. I am good friends and work with Shane's Aunt Tressie. I cannot express how truly sorry I am for the loss your family is and will feel for many years to come. As an Aunt I can relate as I lost my beautiful niece to a car accident a couple years ago. My deepest sympathy for the entire family and prayers that you all will find peace in this tragic loss of such a wonderful young man.

I was in denial when I heard you passed, and I've been in denial ever since. You were such a nice guy, and I thank God that I had the chance to meet you. You were full of talent and love. I smile thinking back at all the funny jokes you used to crack, especially about my laugh. Bruce and I still remember when we first met you, how much you made us laugh. When you called me that time over the summer, I had the biggest smile on my face. I hope you knew every person you touched you lit up their world. I'll always remember you, you've touched my life and you've taught me so much, Shane. I'm sorry we never got the chance to hang out before you passed; but God needed you more to be that Angel that you are and watch out over your family & friends in heaven. I knew Shane from the PS3 gaming world. Many nights of game playing and even just chatting about everything was a lot of fun with him. Shane will be missed. My heart goes out to his family.

The Beat Street Crew will forever miss you and will never be the same. My thought and prayers are with you all. Shane was an amazing person, he cared so much about others and always put others first.
