Thank you for inviting me into such a lovely family. I have spent many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with all of you and always appreciated your kindness. My last memory of you was coming two days earlier to my Celebration of Life picnic to wish me a happy 70th. You said you couldn't stay, but hugged me, grabbed me for a quick dance and was gone. I will miss you. And that moment was so typical of your zest for life. Gone too soon.

Pat, if you can hear me, I want you to know that when I moved here, I didn't know many people. We were 2 people who just had a quick chat in the morning. When Christmas came around, you changed your plans and spent Christmas Eve with me so I wouldn't be alone. I'll never forget and always love you for that. Kat & Emma
