I am saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. I last saw her a year ago at the Art League. What a sweetheart. Very kind and with the most infectious laugh! I shall always remember the fond times shared with Pat at Time-Life and after. My prayers are with the family.
I'll be eternally grateful that my life intersected with Patricia's, albeit briefly. I loved her creative, fun-loving, soul-searching, out-of-the-box thinking spirit. My life was enriched by knowing her. Before she was too sick to pursue it, we had plans to take acting lessons together at our local theatre. Two old ladies taking acting lessons. . . . we would have had a blast! She left us a beautiful legacy in her art and our memories of her!
Pat's spirit lives with each of us....laughter, artsy fartsy conversations, delightful meals and spirit in her artwork. Her life was lived with a special journey. We will always know her presence. Love to Bruce, Andrew, Sara, Sloane and the whole family
My name is Clare Donovan. I went to Sacred Heart and Bishop Reilly HS with Pat. She was such a nice girl and I remember giggling together a lot in those years. I’ve always looked for Pat at reunions. My heart is with all of you who loved her. I know she will be greatly missed.
Patty was so full of life, love, wit, and talent. She was a cousin I didn't see often enough. Sympathies to Bruce, Andrew, Sara, Sloane, Aunt Pat, and Patty's many siblings and friends.
The world lost an amazing spirit – it will be a much duller place without Pat in it.
Her light always shined so brightly - her laughter, kindness and wit were inescapable. For over thirty years we were the closest of friends and had many adventures together. So many wonderful memories – and the stories we could tell.
It is very hard to come to terms that she will no longer be there to call and chat as we solve all the world problems together. No more exciting trips to places or art experiences or visits to her home to view her latest artworks – or just to see how she has decorated or rearranged her home and studio. It was always beautiful and inspiring.
Pat cherished her family and was a loving Mother – and excited to have become a Grandmother just recently.
It was luck and fate that she found a caring partner these last several years and they both made the most of every second of the time they shared.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed – I don’t think we can yet comprehend that she is gone.
