My grandpa was an amazing man and WWII veteran. He did incredible things with the Coast Guard and had incredible stories, such as capturing German prisoners from a U-boat (we have a picture of that). He was a kind soul that loved playing the lotto (also wished he would win & give me some of the reward), enjoyed choc chip cookies (we have this in common), and loved his family with vigor (he held on tight during hugs). I'm going to miss him very much. Rest in peace Grandpa! Xo
A loving husband, father, father-in-law, grand-father, member of the greatest generation and friend to many in his community. He fought a valiant battle.
