My deepest condition to Frank’s family. I met Frank at Northwestern High. He was introduced to me as “Nature Boy.” In fact, he actually drove a bunch of us after graduation to Ocean City for “June bug” beach week. He was the sweetest guy you’d ever meet. Funny beyond belief. I’m terribly sorry he had to endure the ravages of Parkinson’s. I’m glad he’s free from all that now. Know he will never be forgotten. Such a good person.

Frank was a great friend with a electric persona that changed everyone near him. Family vacations & fishing trips were the best of times. He could make something as mundane as going to the store a great adventure and then into a cherished memory. We will miss him greatly and he will always be in our hearts .
Frank, you have fought a courageous battle, and now you can Rest In Peace. I will never forget your strength, sense of humor, and love of family. Frank McGinniss was one of the most honest businessmen I’ve ever known, I never had to worry about any A/C repair or service performed by Frank in my home. As a longtime customer his visits were always welcomed even if it was for a new A/C unit install. I was saddened to read of his passing in the Washington Post but uplifted by all the other great qualities Frank brought to this world as stated in the obituary. We will forever hold you in our hearts. We had some wonderful times...Body Shop when your yellow van backed down the street unattended, Bermuda when I tried to teach you to swim even though I couldn’t swim, the Bloody Bucket when you had to come pick us up, Ocean City, Holden Beach, too many places to list! So very many memories and they all included hysterical laughter. You put the Fine in Hyattsville’s Finest. Until we meet again.

So many great memories with my dad it’s hard to pick my favorite....loved the rides to school; we’d stop at 6-12 in Olney on the way to school. Loved our talks, he literally was the best listener with the best advice. Loved our dance parties when mom worked nights. My dad loved radio contests and one in particular I remember he won Rolling Stones tickets. Seriously awesome great memories from that night when I was a 5th grader. It was my first concert which I still have fond memories of today. If you knew Frank you know he was a hard worker; he never made excuses and he always held high expectations for his girls. He instilled in us that girls could do anything-including cutting the grass lol. He never liked tv except for watching the redskins or the 11 o’clock news. You’d probably find him working in his yard, tinkering in his garage, or helping one of his girls with their homework. He always made time for others despite working his full time job and his heating and a/c business. Growing up we enjoyed his great sense of humor and his smile and laugh which were contagious. I loved Sunday’s because I knew he’d make the big breakfast with French toast, fresh squeezed orange juice, and he’d have the mini-page pulled out of the Washington Post for me. He was the calm and the sense of reason when you had a bad day. He was so forgiving when you knew you messed up. He reassured us that every day is a new day when you make a mistake and you’re still loved. School was an utmost importance for him, nothing came before school. He was someone you could count on and also laugh with; I felt comfort in talking to him. He loved music and classic rock. Family was his forefront he worked hard to support us. In his later years when Parkinson’s took him from us it grew harder for him to express all that once was important to him. We hold right to those memories because we know he still held them dear to his heart. May he finally be at peace, dancing in heaven watching over us all. Frankie worked hard and played hard. He took great care of his family and put their needs above his. You will be missed but you are in a better place now and healthy. Enjoyed our fishing trips in the outer banks and in the Florida keys. We had a ball didn't we?? Save some fish for me so when we meet again we can fish once again. Love you my friend ❤️♥️💕💓💗
