We attended the services for Del (“Pop”) today and found them quite moving. A wonderful tribute to a fine man. Beautiful ceremony with military honors at the Millsboro Veterans Cemetery. Many tears shed in memory of the life well lived by this husband, father, father-in-law, grandpop, great grandpop and friend. RIP good fellow.

I had a wonderful talk with your father a few weeks ago. He shared many memories including those of your mother, Mickey (who I worked with for many years). He was very proud of his family and I am sure he will be greatly missed!
Dear Family of “Del”, “Pop” Price,
Marty and I share your sorrow at the loss of your “Pop”. Marty was, and always will be, grateful for Del’s generosity in allowing him and his son, Marty Jr., to attend one of his hog killings.....an event usually not open to the public, but one the Martys knew would be educational and enriching. Del recognized their sincerity and gladly welcomed their attendance. The Martys continue to this day to talk about their experience that morning on the farm with true amazement and appreciation. I enjoyed the privilege of joining the family in referring to Del as “Pop”. He was truly the definition of this term of endearment. May your Pop rest peacefully in the glorious heavenly reunion with your wonderful Mom.
A donation has been made to honor Pop, a kind and good hearted man who loved his animals (and us humans, as well), to Grassroots as suggested. We know that would make him happy.
