Mrs Jenkins was the best teacher my four kids had. Every kid hoped and prayed that they would get her for a teacher. She was the best the world will be missing the best person anyone would want to know. She cared about everyone. If you need anything she was the first one to be there. We are all going to miss her. God bless prays for the family
Cindy and I shared many memories with Science Olympiad. From working with students, praying on the bus during a blizzard, and sharing the joy when students won and we got to go to "states"... and then judging events. Our trip to Colorado was filled with laughter, from the ride to the airport to trying to function at higher altitudes. Cindy often spoke of how proud she was of her children and how much she still loved her husband. The law of conservation of energy says that energy cannot be created or destroyed..so I know Cindy is still out there somewhere looking over her family that she loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sharon McLaughlin
Not only was Mrs. Jenkins was my 5th grade teacher, she was also my favorite teacher. She made such an impact on my life at a very young age. To this very day my parents and I still talk about her.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Prayers to the family 🌹🌹
So saddened to hear this news…she was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had and never failed to make our 5th grade class laugh with her love of Bill Nye the science guy. She left a lasting impact on me & I will always remember her for the fun loving lady she was. Sending my thoughts & prayers to her family ♥️
Mrs. Jenkins was my 5th grad science and math teacher and she was such a wonderful teacher. Her classroom was full of fun, positivity and enthusiasm. She started every class with music and is one of the reasons I have such a love for George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. She’s also one of the reasons I love astronomy. My condolences to family and friends.
We first met Cindy when we started playing pickleball at the Factory in Lewes Delaware. She was a sweet and engaging person who loved playing pickleball. Cindy was a tough competitor and very hard to beat when she was on her game. Cindy was fun to be around, especially at our gatherings with our pickleball crew. We shared laughter and many good memories together. You will be greatly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know and love you! Rest in Peace our dear friend. Elizabeth and Patrick Kerwin.
The Flynn family of Robbinsville is so saddened by this news. Cindy was absolutely the best teacher our 3 children had. She had such a positive impact on them that when our eldest, Brian (whom was fortunate to have her as a teacher for 4th and 5th grade) graduated high school, he invited her to the ceremony because he mentioned her name in his valedictorian speech..
She was the model teacher in that she cared about not only her students, but about their families as well. We looked at her as a friend, not just our children's teacher. When she retired and was moving to Delaware she stopped at our house to drop off photos that she had of our children when they were in her class.
Cindy will be missed by the many peoples lives she touched as well as her wonderful family that she spoke of so often.
Our deepest condolences.
