Biography

Ruth M. Conrad, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was born on July 5, 1922, daughter of the late Cyrus and Maud (Joseph) Williams.

Mrs. Conrad was born and lived in Georgetown, DE most of her life. She was an avid gardener and flower gardener who would can and freeze the fruits of her labor each harvest and did so as recent as this past summer.

Mrs. Conrad was predeceased by her husband, Charles Hammond Conrad, Sr. (1998) and son Carl Conrad (2004). She is survived by two sons: Charles H. Conrad, Jr. and wife Donna Jo of Milford, DE, Irvin W. Conrad and wife Anita of Georgetown, DE and daughter-in-law: Laura Conrad of Georgetown, DE, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown, DE.
