Biography
Margaret Ann Forbes, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2012, at her residence with her loving companion, Walter Forbes by her side. She was born in Hackensack, NJ on Thursday, May 4, 1939, daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Bogart) Salisbury.
Mrs. Forbes worked as a Secretary for many years in the Engineering field. After retiring she enjoyed spending her time reading and traveling. Mrs. Forbes was the Correspondent Secretary for the Lord Baltimore Women’s Club and was named the Purple Princess for the Ocean View Beach Bunnie’s Red Hatters.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Salisbury. Mrs. Forbes is survived by her companion and former husband, Walter Forbes; her brother: Donald Salisbury of Virginia; her sister in-law: Mildred Salisbury of Lincoln, DE; and five cousins: Beth Eddey of New York, New York; Dr. Gary Eddey of Morristown, NJ; George Eddey of Westerville, OH, Erwin Eddey of Gaithersburg, MD and Roy Eddey of New York, NY.
All services will be private. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville.
