Biography

Helen Haggerty of Lewes, Delaware died January 14, 2010, at Delaware Hospice, Milford, Delaware. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey and lived there until moving to South Plainfield 61 years ago.

In 2004, she moved to Lewes, Delaware. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law (with whom she lived) Maureen H. and Richard M. Dailey, daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Lawrence Kelly of Plymouth, Massachusetts, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Jana Haggerty of North Plainfield, New Jersey and grandchildren Kevin and Kathleen Dailey and Mark and Erin Haggerty. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Adam J. Haggerty, her parents, John and Mary Moran, a brother John Moran and a sister Teresa Orlando.

Graveside services will be held on Monday January 18, 2010 at St Joseph's Cemetery, 526 North Street, Jim Thorpe, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Beebe Medical Center, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, Delaware 19958.
